The Official Opening of the Mountain Isle Day Park in Humber Arm South took place on Friday afternoon. Shears said when the landfill site closed in the late 90’s most people say an old dump site but one person saw possibility. That person was Marion Evoy. She was present to cut the ribbon to officially open the Mountain Isle Day Park.
