This is a switch; a job fair in Ft.McMurray recruiting workers to come to NL

    Premier Andrew Furey says over the next ten years, this province will need about 80,000 jobs filled.

    Twenty companies from this province joined Premier Andrew Furey at a job fair in Ft. McMurray last week. Furey says upwards of 20 percent of the people who live there are from Newfoundland and Labrador. He says over the next ten years, this province will need about 80,000 jobs filled. Furey says the times are changing and we need the people to capitalize on it. The Premier says there are opportunities now in healthcare with incentives and any nurse or doctor who would like to come home is welcomed.
