All aboard the Newfie Bullet! The Railway Society Museum of Newfoundland is opening the doors today to welcome passengers onboard in Corner Brook. The Riverside Drive location offers a historic tour of 10 different cars and engines, containing artifacts and activities, and a chance to find a perfect souvenir. Conductor John Parsons says it all starts with the Newfie Bullet in front, a 100-year-old steam engine built in Philadelphia. He says other cars include, boxcar, baggage, dining, passenger and sleeper ``car which people can walk through. This leads to a caboose and a diesel engine with a plow that used to clear snow from the tracks. Parsons says locals get a membership card after paying their first visit of the season. He says they see people from Australia, Germany, Japan and all over the world at the Riverside station. It’s open 9-5pm, 7 days a week until Labour day.
