    The Department of Finance has been made aware of a text message advising the recipient that their carbon rebate from the Government of Canada is in a status of pending. The department has been advised the message asks the recipient to click a link by a certain deadline.

    The Department of Finance has been made aware of a text message advising the recipient that their carbon rebate from the Government of Canada is in a status of pending. The department has been advised the message asks the recipient to click a link by a certain deadline.
    This message is in no way connected to the Provincial Government.
    The Department of Finance advises the public not to reply to this fraudulent text message or click on any link provided.
