Bill Griffin says this year, the concert won’t be held at Bartlett’s Point Park but will be at the Marina.

The annual “Friends of Jackie Food Drive Concert” is heading into their 5th this weekend, and so far, the event has raised close to $17K for the food bank. The concert is set to get underway this Sunday at the Marina near the Bay of Islands Yacht Club. On Bayfm, Bill Griffin spoke about the beginning of the concert, which is in honour of his wife Jackie, who passed away five years ago after a battle with cancer.

Griffin says this year, the concert won’t be held at Bartlett’s Point Park but will be at the Marina.

Damian Power of the Bay of Islands Ministerial Food Bank Association says it’s always one of the highlights they look forward to.

The concert is scheduled for this Sunday (June 28th) from 2 to 4pm at the Marina in curling. .
