SUV crashes through Whitbourne Tim Horton's

    Police say the elderly driver of the vehicle unintentionally pressed the gas pedal of the SUV instead of the brake and crashed into the business.

    A patron inside the Tim Horton’s in Whitbourne received minor injuries when a SUV crashed through the front entrance. RCMP say it happened shortly after 5:30 last night and there was extensive damage. Police say the elderly driver of the vehicle unintentionally pressed the gas pedal of the SUV instead of the brake and crashed into the business. The occupants of the SUV were uninjured and the driver showed no signs of impairment.
