Suspended driver caught in Stephenville driving erratically and also gave police a false identity

    He was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license and driving without due care and caution.

    Bay St. George RCMP arrested a 21-year-old suspended driver early Tuesday morning, after he was stopped for driving erratically and gave police a false identity. Around 2:45 a.m. RCMP noticed a vehicle driving in an erratic manner on Gallant Street in Stephenville. The driver passed a roadside breath test but the identity he provided was false. He was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license and driving without due care and caution. Police seized the vehicle and the driver has a court date in August.
