Councillor Donna Luther says lots has been done since the end of May with forty sections patched and nine more sections will be done by the end of this month.
Crews have been busy patching and painting lines on the roads and streets in Corner Brook. On Bayfm, Councillor Donna Luther says lots has been done since the end of May. She says forty sections have been patched and nine more sections will be done by the end of this month. Traffic line painting is mostly completed in the city’s core section and residential areas will also be done by the end of June.
Luther says the downtown area has been cleaned with streets swept, ready for line painting, and residential areas are being done now. She says more flower pots, benches and garbage cans will be added in the downtown area. Repairing damaged curbs, sidewalks and manholes will continue throughout the summer.
Luther says the weather had been fairly dry meaning crews could stay at the work, getting it done quicker.
