Neil says it’s nice to be back home and he’s been told to take a break.
Bailey Jordan Neil is back in Corner Brook for the holidays and taking some chill time before getting back to writing more songs and a new album next year. Neil spoke with Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit and says he was 13 or 14 when he started playing at house parties for a few bucks from Nan. He spent some time entertaining on George Street but moved to Toronto upwards of 6 years ago. Neil says he was having a great time busking and playing in bars or at events, but then the Pandemic hit. Neil says it’s nice to be back home and he’s been told to take a break. He says creating a song takes work and he loves doing it, but it can be a mental task. Neil says it’s energizing and he likes writing the songs the best.
