Slow moving on the TCH near Hampden Junction, tractor trailer carrying vehicles gone off the road

    Drivers should expect delays for at least the next 4-5 hours. (at 11:15 a.m.)

    RCMP Traffic Services West is advising motorists of reduced traffic flow on the Trans‑Canada Highway - approximately 5km east of Hampden Junction - outside of Deer Lake. A tractor‑trailer carrying vehicles has gone off the roadway and crews are on site to assist with removal. Drivers should expect delays for at least the next 4-5 hours.

    Please use caution and reduce your speed when approaching the area. Obey all traffic signs and flag people. Weather conditions continue to affect road safety and visibility.
