Kinsman Steve Churchill says they have close to 40 floats registered which will be the biggest parade yet.
Corner Brook is getting ready for an early visit for the jolly man in a red suit. The Kinsmen Club of Corner Brook Santa Claus Parade gets underway tomorrow at 5pm. Kinsman Steve Churchill says they have close to 40 floats registered which will be the biggest parade yet. He says the first priority is safety and everyone’s excited and Bay of Islands Search and Rescue will be there keeping people away from the floats. Churchill says the Girls Under 13 Hockey team will be handing out candy along the parade. Letters to Santa and donations to the food bank or Corner Brook Fire Department Toy Drive will be accepted along the parade route. A sensory free zone will take place at the beginning of the parade on Cpl Pinksen Memorial Drive.
