Salvation Army helps 200 people in the area with food every month

    Major Wheeler says they helped about 1300 people in this area this Christmas by providing food.

    While the Salvation Army kettle campaign goes primarily for their Christmas appeal, they also have ongoing programs throughout the year. Major Brian Wheeler says some funding is for these various  programs, such as the foodbank. He says about 200 people access the foodbank every month and their main goal is to help people. Major Wheeler says they helped about 1300 people in this area this Christmas by providing food.
