Three firearms were taken including, a Savage 30-06 rifle, with a black stock and a silver barrel, a pink camouflage 20-gauge shotgun and a 0.22 calibre rifle.
Roddickton RCMP are looking for information after a gun was stolen at a break in at a home. Police got a call shortly before 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. When they arrived at the scene on Cloud Drive, they found the main door was damaged and a gun safe inside had been forced open. Three firearms were taken including, a Savage 30-06 rifle, with a black stock and a silver barrel, a pink camouflage 20-gauge shotgun and a 0.22 calibre rifle. RCMP believe this happened sometime between Sunday, March 1 and Monday, March 2, 2026.
Meanwhile, police are also looking into a recent theft at the Roddickton-Bide Arm Arena. They got a call Monday around 7:40 p.m. after a small amount of cash, soft drinks, frozen food and candy was taken from the canteen. Police believe it happened sometime Sunday and Monday.
