RNC warns public of online groups, like "764," which targets and recruits children

    The RNC is urging parents to teach responsible online behavior and set guidelines to promote a safe online experience.

    The RNC is warning the public of an online group known as “764” which targets, victimizes and recruits children. Police say these groups are gaining the trust of young people through games like Roblox and Minecraft. Then, they have children commit criminal acts like producing exploitation material and even persuade them to self-harm. The RNC is urging parents to teach responsible online behavior and set guidelines to promote a safe online experience.
