RNC say it took some time to reopen Curling Street when an oil truck overturned this week

    Curling Street had to be closed from Sheppard Avenue to Lewin Parkway. 

    According to police it took time to clean up after an oil truck overturned on Tuesday. It happened around three p.m. and  Cst Stephanie Myers says the road was closed until 2:30 the next morning.. RNC Operational Patrol Services and Traffic Services West are on the scene of an overturned oil truck on Curling Street in Corner Brook. There were no injuries reported. Curling Street had to be closed from Sheppard Avenue to Lewin Parkway. 

    Meanwhile, Myers says it took some time yesterday to clear an area on the TCH just outside of Corner Brook when a number of tractor trailers became stuck around 9 a.m. Traffic flow on the TCH started to improve shortly after 1:30 yesterday afternoon.
