Police are looking for information regarding an assault at Corner Brook Intermediate late last week. RNC were called to the school last Thursday morning  and arrested two young people for assault. Cst James Cadigan says a male youth had been assaulted inside the school. The injured 14-year-old was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries which were believed to be non-life threatening. Officers arrested a 14-year-old female and charged her with assault, and a 15-year-old male was charged with assault causing bodily harm. Cadigan says the boy’s injuries could have a lasting effect given the charge is assault causing bodily harm. Cadigan says the matter is  still under investigation. Both accused have been released from custody to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
