The RNC have released some stats from the Christmas season leading up to New Year’s Eve. From December 19th to the 31st, close to 4,000 vehicles were stopped at 32 traffic checkpoints throughout the province. 8 impaired driving charges were laid, 4 driving suspensions were issued, and police responded to 177 collisions. There were 157 traffic complaints and the RNC also have two impaired investigations needing follow-up.
