Ribs, music and beer all weekend as part of Corner Brook Ribfest

    A ribfest means there is a challenge to taste and choose who has  the best ribs. This year’s contenders are the Texas Rangers and Crabby’s BBQ Shack.

    The closer you get to Margaret Bowater Park, the music gets louder and the scent of barbecued ribs becomes stronger. Corner Brook knows how to throw a good party; one that lasts all weekend long. Mayor Jim Parsons says Ribfest is happening now, tomorrow and Sunday. He says it will be 3 days of ribs, music, and beer. A ribfest means there is a challenge to taste and choose who has  the best ribs. This year’s contenders are the Texas Rangers and Crabby’s BBQ Shack.
