A man and a woman have been charged and could be facing more charges as the investigation is ongoing.
It’s not something we see a lot in this province, but RCMP have busted a large weapons manufacturing and trafficking operation in Harbour Grace. Staff Sgt Ken Maher says police searched a home on LeMarchant Road and seized 16 long guns, 33 handguns, ammunition of different calibers, prohibited weapons, and a 3d printer with 3d gun parts. He says they also seized a large amount of firearm parts, assembled guns and 10 prohibited weapons Staff Sgt Maher says this is a significant seizure and a disturbing trend, He says police are very concerned about illegal weapons.
