A 38-year-old woman was picked up Thursday evening after a theft from a gas station in Deer Lake. The woman was located a short time later on Chapel Hill Road and taken into custody without incident.
The woman is due to appear in court February 10th and faces charges of theft under $5K and failing to comply with a probation order. The investigation is ongoing. Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are asked to contact the Deer Lake RCMP at 709-635-2173.
