The 38-year-old St. Georges man was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and the female passenger was ticketed for allowing an unlicensed person to drive.
Around 11:30 a.m., a known unlicensed driver was stopped in Stephenville. The vehicle was found to be unfit for the road, and was not insured. The 40-year-old male driver was ticketed.
On Friday, around 1:00 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle on the Hansen Highway in Stephenville, and the female driver was given a ticket for not having insurance.
At 3:15 p.m. on Friday, another known unlicensed driver was stopped in Lourdes and he also did not have an insurance policy.
