Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says motorists need to keep safety in mind and be prepared and plan ahead accordingly.
It’s a windy, snowy and wintery day out there and while travel is not recommended along some parts of the west coast, the RCMP will be out in force. Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says officers are ready to respond to any calls for service and will have an extra presence on roadways.
O’Donaghey says motorists need to keep safety in mind and be prepared and plan ahead accordingly. He says take some extra time to arrive at your destination safely. Ensure windshield wash and fluid levels are topped up, bring blankets, flashlights, a shovel, as well as food and water just in case.
