RCMP looking into a vacant house fire in Rocky Harbour

    The fire on Payne’s Path was quickly contained and extinguished.

    RCMP are looking into a fire that happened at a vacant home in Rocky Harbour on January 17th. Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says police and fire fighters were called out to the scene around 10:45 that night. The fire on Payne’s Path was quickly contained and extinguished. There were no people present in the home, but the building was damaged from flames and smoke.

    Police are asking anyone with any information about this fire, including video or photo surveillance of the area on January 17th, to call Rocky Harbour RCMP at 709-458-2222.
