Qalipu First Nations Chief Jenny Brake says it was an extremely busy summer with events and gatherings.

After taking the summer off, Bayfm’s Qalipu today is back on the air with their weekly segment on Tuesdays.  Qalipu First Nations Chief Jenny Brake says it was an extremely busy summer with events and gatherings. Brake says many people don’t realize the amount of work that goes into planning and preparing for each event. Committees meet year round to make it happen and Brake says it fills her with so much pride to see the end result. She says it’s important that everyone in the circle feels supported and welcomed.
