Qalipu First Nations Band Council has selected Western Vice Chief Jenny Brake to lead as Acting Chief. This is until a Chief can be elected by the membership at the next Band election expected to take place next October. Acting Chief Brake says she’s thankful for the opportunity to work collectively with Council and community to advance the many priorities of membership.
