Dominic Delisle has been sentenced to seven years incarceration, after pleading guilty to a number of charges and RCMP Cpl Jolene Garland says one of the charges included obtaining material benefit from sexual services.
As a result of an investigation that included the RCMP-RNC JFO West Team here in Corner Brook, a 35 year old man is headed to prison for seven years. RCMP Cpl Jolene Garland says this included a 30-month investigation led by RCMP Federal Serious and Organized Crime, in partnership with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and the RCMP-RNC Joint Force Operation West (JFO West). Dominic Delisle has been sentenced to seven years incarceration, after pleading guilty to a number of charges and Garland says one of the charges included obtaining material benefit from sexual services. Delisle also pled guilty to possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and a number of weapons related offenses as the result of Project Badminton. With credit for time served since his arrest in 2022, Delisle has just over 1500 days left to serve. In addition, a lifetime firearms prohibition is imposed and he must submit to a mandatory DNA order.
