The Port of Corner Brook is teaming up with Aquila Center for Cruise Excellence for a free, full day workshop targeted towards businesses or groups wanting to become part of the cruise guest experience. Cruise Marketing Coordinator Patti Ricketts says they did an external study and it highlighted product development should be a focus. The event will be in partnership with Go Western Newfoundland and Experience Qalipu.

Ricketts says at the end of the three phase program, there may be an opportunity to pitch directly with tour operators who work directly with cruise lines. She says whether your business is rooted in adventure, culture, food, storytelling, local attractions, or hands-on experiences, this workshop will help strengthen your offering for the cruise industry.
