What started as a “Warm Line” for callers who felt isolated during the covid pandemic now has expanded to also offer evening services. Planned Parenthood 2SLGBTQIA+ Warm Line is now open Wednesdays to Sundays from 6-10p.m at 1-866-230-9041. Coordinator Em Alexander says there is a difference between a warm line and a crisis line. She says the Warm Line started during the covid pandemic but it was needed long before. Alexander says it’s meant to be a safe space where people can feel a part of the community and they receive a variety of calls.
