A church in Aguathuna is in the running as one of five finalists for the National Trust for Canada’s, “the Next Great Save” competition. Online voting starts April 18th and includes Our Lady of Mercy Heritage Church. The complex was built by local fishermen, farmers, and miners over a 14 year period from 1911 to 1925.
