The opposition says it’s too late for Premier Furey to lobby for changes to the carbon tax that will hit on July 1st. Party Leader and Conception-Bay West-Bell Island MHA David Brazil, says the Premier should have done that a year ago. He says this will be detrimental to the people of this province because it will be added to goods and heating oil. Brazil says the carbon tax is not fair to the people of this province since we are not a big polluter. Meanwhile, Brazil says he’s glad to see Premier Andrew Furey change his tone after his government again and again supported the Liberal Carbon Tax.
