Opposition Leader demands the truth behind recruitment of health professionals

    Tony Wakeham says medical and nursing students here are not being offered jobs and doctors in Nova Scotia can’t get a job here.

    The province’s opposition Leader wants to know the truth behind what’s happening with the recruitment and retention of health professionals. Tony Wakeham says the PC’s recently enquired about it through the Access to Information and Protection Privacy Office. He says medical and nursing students here are not being offered jobs and doctors in Nova Scotia can’t get a job here. Wakeham says retention starts when every single person who graduates from our own programs in this province should be offered a job on their way in, not on their way out.
