One of two men wanted for a bear spray assault in Corner Brook was arrested on Friday. Cst Stephanie Myers says with the assistance of the Tactics and Rescue Unit, 21-year-old Joshua Roberts was taken without incident and is facing charges that include assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and administering a Noxious Substance.
Myers says they are still actively looking for 40-year-old Todd Barry who may be armed and dangerous. Barry is described as 6’1” with hazel eyes and brown and grey hair. He has been evading police since the assault on Crestview Avenue March 14th. That’s when a man had been sprayed with bear spray.
