General Manager Richard Cormier says they’re still making snow, when it’s cold enough at least minus 5 but best at minus 10.

It’s a new chapter at Marble Mountain as they prep the hill  for next week’s opening on January 8th. It’s well ahead of schedule  compared to the last few years and General Manager Richard Cormier says they’re still making snow, when it’s cold enough at least minus 5 but best at minus 10.

Cormier says early bird pricing ended last week, the lowest it’s been in years with some youth getting season passes for as low as $150. He says while users are extremely important they want to focus on families and people who love Marble Mountain. Cormier says it’s about making memories, and his children are fifth generation ski pass holders.

The return of a tube park later this season will offer a fun, accessible and affordable outdoor experience for families, groups, and non-skiers. Cormier says how often it will be open will depend on the demand, opening on Fridays to start. He says they offered tubing on a trial basis last year and found a large number of pass holders who were from away and often workers in the city, enjoyed the chance to have family fun in the snow.
