ACOA and Rural Economic Development Minister, Guide Hutchings has announced nearly $463,000 for Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador (MNL). The funding is from the Regional Economic Growth through Innovation (REGI) program. The purpose is to help municipalities address housing challenges in the province. MNL will hire two Capacity Building Officers, who will undertake housing needs assessments, identify options for increasing housing inventory, as well as pursue programming and funding opportunities.
