The Millbrook Mall in Corner Brook will be closed for the duration of the day. On Saturday, a busted pipe in the Millbrook Mall parking lot flooded and led to the mall’s closure. Mall Manager Tammy Joyce says they had 6 different contractors working throughout Saturday night and into yesterday. She says some water did manage to get into one of the tenant’s spaces but there was very little damage. Joyce says they were fortunate the break didn’t happen in the middle of the night because the whole lower level could have been flooded.
