EARLIER STORY: Residents in McIvers are being directed to shelter-in-place by the RNC. Officers are responding to a weapons offense in the area. There are no reports of any injuries at this time. All residents of McIvers are being asked to lock doors, and stay away from windows. There is no through traffic at this time. This is an active and ongoing response.
