Parsons says the snow clearing budget covers the fiscal year which will include this November and December.

Corner Brook received less snowfall this year which led to the closure of Marble Mountain and an earlier end to the snowmobile season. He says there is a modest savings at this point but it’s still too early to tell how much. Last year’s Farmers Almanac did say the Atlantic provinces would get less snow and mild temperatures.
