A store employee reported that a man that was known to the staff had left the store with unpaid items, and provided a description of the suspect to officers.
Bay St. George RCMP arrested a 32-year-old man on Monday after a theft from a retail store in Stephenville. The Mattis Point man now faces charges of theft and failure to comply with his probation order. Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says police were called to the business on Prince Rupert Drive. The man is due to appear in Court on March 15th.
