It may be the first day of spring, but after a very long, trying winter Massey Drive’s WINTERFEST is the perfect way to bid it goodbye. Crystal Anderson is chair of the town’s Recreation Committee. She says it’s been a couple of years since they had Winterfest and this will be a fabulous, family fun-filled weekend partnered with First Pentecostal Church on a couple of events.
Anderson says there’s something new this year, a Trivia night tomorrow. A community brunch will start at 10 a.m. tomorrow and the Tippings Pond Event gets underway at 1 o’clock. On Sunday there will be an outdoor sliding party on Lakeview Drive.
