Show organizer Gary Warren says over 700 tickets have been sold to date, which leaves 300 available and ticket prices are tying at $25 each.
The annual Massey Drive Party on the Hill will take place this weekend. This year’s line up includes MerryMaker, Covergirls, the Jesse Hackett band, and DJ Two Jays with Matthew Sheppard. Show organizer Gary Warren says over 700 tickets have been sold to date, which leaves 300 available and ticket prices are tying at $25 each. The town hall will be open until 8 p.m. this evening for ticket sales.
Meanwhile, performer Jesse Hackett kicked off his summer tour this past weekend at the Saltbox in Benoit’s Cove on Sunday. He joined Bayfm’s Dean Clarke on Scoffs and Scuffs and says music has always been a part of his life and he grew up around his father’s band. Hackett says his biggest influence has been American singer-songwriter Kody Johnson. This will be the fourth annual Party on the Hill in Massey Drive.
