It’s based on three pillars of Environmental, Social and Governance.

Flair Airlines hosted a virtual press conference yesterday to announce the airline's major sustainability initiatives and provide exclusive insights into their ESG (environmental, social and governance) strategies. Flair Airlines CEO Stephen Jones says it’s part of their overall mission. Amanda Mesluk is the Senior Sustainability Manager at Flair. She says their sustainability report encompasses the way they’re rethinking travel and embraces sustainability as an opportunity. It’s based on three pillars of Environmental, Social and Governance. Mesluk says this low cost model is aligned with the elements of low carbon and is why the company can offer low fares. One example is approximately $70 from Deer Lake to Kitchener. Last year, Flair Airlines led the industry with one of the lowest average emissions per passenger at 64g / passenger kg.
