Tomorrow will be a busy time in the downtown area of Corner Brook. Two large cruise ships carrying upwards of 9,000 people will spend the day and the annual Colours of Corner Brook event with live music throughout the day will take place on West Street. But there’s always more…..The Royal Canadian Legion is offering a Screech-in for cruise ship passengers to become honorary Newfoundlanders. Spokesperson Robert Murphy says it’s also open to anyone from away and takes about half an hour. Registration will start when the Legion opens at 11 a.m. tomorrow. The Screech in ceremony starts at 1p.m.
