This is International World Ocean Day and there’s a celebration at the Majestic Lawn in Corner Brook until 3 p.m. Representatives from Qalipu First Nation, ACAP Humber, DFO and the Atlantic Healthy Oceans Initiative will be there. Rebecca Brushett is the Executive Director at AHOI. She says it’s a great chance to connect and celebrate the day.
