The 52 year-old man was found unresponsive on Christmas morning and was transported to Western Memorial Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has confirmed to BayFM that a 52 year-old male inmate was found dead this morning at the Her Majesty’s Penitentiary lockup in Corner Brook. This after the man was arrested and taken into custody by the RNC
Few details are available at this time, however the RNC did confirm that the death is now in the hands of the Serious Incident Response Team NL (SIRT-NL) for investigation.
