WEC Executive Director Katie Temple says the dome is a project between the WEC and the Association for New Canadians.
It’s been a couple of years in the making, and now, the Growing Dome in Corner Brook is opening its doors to the public. There will be an open house on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Katie Temple is the Executive of the Western Environment Centre. She says this year was a pilot year and there are 20 Greenhouse Ambassadors ready to show off their produce. Temple says the dome is a project between the WEC and the Association for New Canadians. There will be samples to taste at Thursday’s event , including cucumbers and tomatoes.
