For the first time, Grenfell Campus is offering an Academic Prep Week from August 28th to September 1st.
Kids are getting ready to head back to school, but some young people are actually headed out of town or new to town to attend post secondary school. It can be a scary and crazy time for young people making the switch from home to college. For the first time, Grenfell Campus is offering an Academic Prep Week from August 28th to September 1st. Spokesperson Carolyn Parsons says it’s designed to give students a bit of a head start for university, to gain skills and knowledge to help them out with their first semester. Parsons says during the week there will be a variety of sessions covering a wide range of topics. She says it’s also a great way for students to meet people and get settled away.
