Government is taking applications for projects under the Newfoundland and Labrador Settlement and Integration Program. This program helps newcomers build a strong sense of belonging in the province and supports their social, economic and cultural integration. Projects can be submitted under three streams and focus on providing direct services to newcomers – no matter their immigration status – to help them settle, find work and succeed in the local economy. Eligible organizations for funding include non-profit, post-secondary institutions, municipalities; and Indigenous governments. The deadline to apply is April 1st.
