The list of recipients this year includes the Jigs and Wheels festival in Corner Brook, Light up the Bay at the Bay of Islands Yacht Club, the Deer Lake Strawberry Festival, Cormack Days 2026, and Qalipu First Nation Revitalizing Mi’kmaq Culture and Traditions.
Government has increased the funding for festivals and celebrations this year by $43K. A total of $110K will be shared among 100 community-based initiatives that celebrate culture.
