Government announces $100K for the NL Outfitters Association at their headquarters in Corner Brook

    Brad Ledrew is the President of the NL Outfitters Association and says members deliver world-class experiences to visitors from around the world.

    Government announced $100K for the Newfoundland and Labrador Outfitters Association at their headquarters in Corner Brook yesterday. Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation Minister, Andrea Barbour made the announcement and says “the outfitting sector is a cornerstone of the tourism industry in Newfoundland and Labrador, particularly in the summer and fall seasons. With so much to offer, the promotion of our province’s hunting and angling experiences to domestic and international audiences will attract new clients, expand our reach into emerging markets, and increase visitation to the province.

    Brad Ledrew is the President of the NL Outfitters Association and says the funding will help them to continue supporting outfitters throughout the province and more. He says “members deliver world-class experiences to visitors from around the world, and with continued collaboration between industry and government, we can continue to grow this important part of our tourism economy, further strengthening Newfoundland and Labrador’s reputation as a premier destination for hunting and angling.” TheNL Outfitters Association represents more than 125 businesses.
