Government and the Association of Allied Health Professionals (AAHP) have signed a collective, which represents more than 750 vital health care professionals throughout this province. It includes a two per cent wage increase each year for four years; a one-time employee recognition bonus payment of $2,000; and wage recognition to ensure occupation competitiveness. Health Minister Tom Osborne says “This is a pivotal step in recognizing their invaluable contributions to our province and this agreement shows our commitment to their well-being, acknowledges their expertise, and ultimately ensures that they can continue delivering quality care to those in need.”
